Meet Nicole

Nicole Staple is a seasoned entrepreneur and strategic operator with a deep background in scaling mission-driven startups at the intersection of technology, storytelling, and impact. Most recently, she was on the senior leadership team at Rewiring America, where she served as Vice President of Growth. During her tenure, she helped grow the organization from a five-person startup to a 140-person national leader in household electrification. Nicole led zero-to-one initiatives across the organization and oversaw market development, marketing, and customer experience—most notably spearheading efforts to dramatically lower the cost of clean technologies for low- and moderate-income households through novel manufacturing partnerships. She also led digital engagement strategies to accelerate consumer adoption of electrification and played a key role in securing a $500M federal grant through the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund.

Previously, Nicole was the Co-founder & CEO of Brideside, a $20M direct-to-consumer wedding brand. She raised over $15M in venture capital financing and built a team of 120, launching showrooms in major markets and pioneering new models for digital commerce and personalized customer experience. Prior to founding Brideside, she worked in venture capital and investment banking. Nicole holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from The Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Economics from Wellesley College.

Nicole now lives in Topanga Canyon, just outside Los Angeles, where she advises startups and nonprofits on go-to-market strategy, customer experience, and scaling in the climate and media landscape. She brings a rare mix of operational depth, creative sensibility, and zero-to-one momentum-building to the teams she supports. She’s also the creator of Widowtitties, a short film about losing her husband to cancer at age 38 while leading a fast-growth company—you can find it here. When she’s not working, Nicole can be found hiking or surfing with her husband, her pup Joni, and her three stepkids—or at a concert, way too emotionally invested in the band.
